"Thoughts and Prayers" are worthless
- James 2:14-16:
What good is it, my brothers and sisters, if someone claims to have faith but has no deeds? Can such faith save them? Suppose a brother or a sister is without clothes and daily food. 16 If one of you says to them, “Go in peace; keep warm and well fed,” but does nothing about their physical needs, what good is it? Refrain from anger and vengeance; "Turn the other cheek" Do not harm those that harm you.

Love your enemies
Jesus makes it quite clear, hatred is not Christian, even hatred of an enemy.

The Golden Rule
Treat others as you would like yourself treated.

Treat Strangers/Immigrants Kindly
- Exodus 22:21:
You shall not wrong or oppress a resident alien; for you were aliens in the land of Egypt

- Deuteronomy 24:14-15:
You shall not oppress a hired worker who is poor and needy, whether he is one of your brothers or a foreigner residing in your cities. You will pay his wages on that day, before the sun sets (for he is poor and needs the money), lest he cry out against you to the Lord, and you are guilty of sin.

Give the members of your community a fair hearing, and judge rightly between one person and another, whether citizen or resident alien.
