Isn't 'alien' a synonym for 'immigrant'?

Clarkt50 may be correct based on a list of versions of this passage. Somebody who reads the languages of the older versions could decide for himself what the translation should be. Either way, there are plenty of crazy things in the bible, for those who think it is literally true. --ransage 12:21, 3 May 2009 (CDT)
No alien is not a synonym for immigrant - that's just a lie made up by xian apologists.
Yes, alien is a synonym for immigrant, according to Roget and Webster.

this article is about the kjv not about the bible, neither psudo-fundamentalists or atheists seem to be able to tell the two apart

Pile's response

Unless you can show how the translations differ and detract from the theme of the article, I will suggest this is highly debatable. I think we both know this is a subjective issue, and unless you can prove your interpretation is unquestionably superior, you're just another apologist with no evidence to back up your claim.--Pile 11:40, 12 July 2009 (CDT)

Hebrew/Greek

Would be nice to see the "original" words added. 24.29.92.243 12:56, 19 July 2009 (CDT)

You can look them up online and add them.--Pile 13:01, 19 July 2009 (CDT)

I added them (mostly used Wiktionary [1]). If that's not ok please message me, thanks. - Nuschi
