Isn't 'alien' a synonym for 'immigrant'?

Clarkt50 may be correct based on a list of versions of this passage. Somebody who reads the languages of the older versions could decide for himself what the translation should be. Unless you can show how the translations differ and detract from the theme of the article, I will suggest this is highly debatable.
