Talk:Atheism FAQ
Why are atheists so arrogant?
This appears very combative and defensive. I believe it could be worded such that it deflects the accusation, without taking a tone of having taken offense.
It might be combative, but it's an issue I feel passionate about.--Pile 15:08, 23 May 2008 (CDT)
Passion is not a valid excuse for a combative tone in this context. This is a FAQ. FAQs are typically designed to be a quick primer for new-comers. A negative tone right out of the gate seems to be counterproductive. aznbirdflu
I looked over that section. I don't find it combative. It is a bit defensive, but that's because the contention that "atheists are arrogant" is an attack, and an unfounded, sweeping generalization, and it is best responded to with the lack of reverence such an ignorant assumption deserves.--Pile 18:18, 28 April 2009 (CDT)
